Boys and Girls
Men are the same at every stage,
A girl’s a girl: forget the age,
You toss your hair; you have that stride,
We turn our heads, and melt inside.
With makeup, lipstick you will fuss,
Profound effects it has on us,
Sometimes you go au naturel,
Affect us too, and you can tell.
You cover up with baggy clothes,
We look at fingers, nose and toes,
And, if the fingers; toes are red,
We’re trapped, ensnared, and we are dead.
Heavy or thin is no concern,
Beyond a point of no return,
For every girl, and every boy,
Can find the “One” to share that joy.
But, now a secret I will share,
For any girl, a boy to snare,
Just sidle close to him awhile,
With sideward glance, and loving smile!
