Reid and Graham

Reid and Graham

Oh, here are two brothers their names Reid and Graham,
They liked to eat syrup and pancakes and ham,
They never ate peanuts or nuts from a tree,
For Reid would expire from a nut allergy.

So Graham kept Reid safe as they walked through the land,
They walked over water, and mountain, and sand,
They walked over riggles, and ruggles, and ruts,
In search of a land with no peanuts or nuts.

And, finally found a great mountainous place,
Now, Reid with a smile a great smile on his face,
There is wheat, there is cheese, and meat just for me,
But, no nuts can be found for my nut allergy!

So brother to brother they took tools in hand,
And, Graham quite the builder he fashioned and planned,
With Reid his fine brother they built a fine home,
They built a fine home with an emerald dome.

Oh, many would come as they lived out their life,
Each brother in time took a beautiful wife,
Now all would be careful to not eat a nut,
In home, or in heather, in hotel or hut.

Quite nutless they lived on the mountainous sphere,
With their sleds and their sleighs and their skies ever dear,
“Oh, please share a breakfast of eggs, toast, and ham”,
And, Reid said, “Delighted, my big brother, Graham.”
