Grand Children’s Song
Spiderman, and learning chess,
Diapers in the corner mess,
Girls in dresses brightly worn,
Boys their hair so neatly shorn.
Holidays the fam’ly fold,
Baby days; the stories told,
Laughter through the dinner din,
Hearts ablaze with love within.
Movies, games and popcorn pops,
Puzzles built on tabletops,
Antsy pants and family walks,
World anew with children talks.
Sun now set and all sublime,
Shampoo bath and jammie time,
Kisses; hugs as Grandma hums,
“We’ll see you when the morning comes!”
