What’s Heaven Like
What’s Heaven like, a mother’s arms,
Or, streets of gold with all its charms,
A quiet stream through grove of trees,
Or, boundless light’s serenities.
An age I’ve lived through captured mind,
Near edges of the known mankind,
Have delved the open space within,
And, tested some of deadly sin.
In all of it the best I’ve found,
Is family’s love which knows no bound,
A wife who loves my inner me,
A Christ who saved me certainly!
Oh, Father God, Creator, Lord,
My trust in you this life’s reward,
I know in life that you’ve loved me,
The same will be eternally!
What’s Heaven like, of this I’m sure,
No pain or sorrow to endure,
United with dear ones above,
And, held within God’s purest love!
