A King is Born
Once More Today
A King was born
this glorious day,
In tiny hamlet far
away,
The myriad
prophets had foretold,
That God in man we
would behold.
In husband
Joseph’s lineage,
From David’s line
the parentage,
A lowly maiden she
did bear,
The Holy Spirit’s
solo heir,
In faith like
Abraham we rise,
To look once more
in Jesus’ eyes,
A little babe born
in a stall,
Hope of the world
born for all.
A King is born
once more today,
To take our every
sin away,
For every
Christmas is a start,
For Jesus born
within each heart!
