True Love II

One cannot love fully another,

Until one loves God,

For God is love,

Until I knew God,

I only knew myself,

With so many limitations,

Obsessions,

I think I fancied after love,

Until I found you,

I knew a lusting love,

When I found you,

(Or, we found each other)

There was the first inkling,

Of something greater,

Something beyond,

Something more profound,

Than you and me,

More than a force,

But, forceful still,

An essence that binds,

But, unbound, too,

Boundless,

A love that transcends and envelopes,

At the same time,

It looks passed,

Faults,

Age,

Even beauty,

When we reach,

Upward,

Outward,

Toward God,

We find our self,

Our true self,

And, together,

Even if death separates us,

There will always be,

Because of God,

True love,

Eternally,

True love!
