Mama
Mama’s there to hear my
cries,
Mama’s here to dry my
eyes,
Mama’s there when e’er I
thirst,
Mama’s hears her baby
first.
Mama’s there when I first
talk,
Mama’s here when I first
walk,
Mama’s there when pain
controls,
Mama’s tender soul
consoles.
Now, if your Mama’s here
today,
Or, Mama’s with our Lord
to stay,
We thank dear God in
heav’n above,
For Mama’s ever present
love!
