Candy

Oh candy is the sweetest thing,
It makes me smile, it makes me sing,
I know the day will be a win,
If I can shove some candy in,

Snowcaps are a small delight,
Tiny sugared pellets white,
On darkest bits of chocolate,
A handful now and that is it.

Sugar Babies what a treat,
Pebble sized and very sweet,
Semi hard the caramel,
Doesn’t have a parallel.

Almond Joys a wonder true,
Coconut and almonds too,
Milk chocolate upon the top,
One taste of it you’ll never stop.

Mounds it is the brother of,
The Almond Joy which you will love,
Dark chocolate on coconut,
A favorite of this candy glut.

Now Good & Plenty pink and white,
And capsule sized for you to bite,
They’re sugar coated licorice,
They crunch and chew, they are delish!

And Twizzlers are a licorice,
The red kind is my favorite dish,
Two strands of it is quite enough,
Why stop at two, just stuff and stuff.

But best of all the Hershey bar,
The sweetest chocolate by far,
It’s perfect thin; melts in your mouth,
The wonder in the north and south.

On future date this verse you’ll meet,
Some candies may be obsolete,
But every sweet will have within,
The sugar for YOUR smile and grin.

So have a bite or have a chew,
The candies made for me and you,
But brush and floss or in the end,
The dentist maybe your best friend.
