Fluffing Pillows

Sometimes dreams will make me weep,
Filled with fear; afraid to sleep,
Where trolls and ogres seem to creep,
And wake me from a restful keep.

Other dreams will bring a smile,
Drawn from larger ‘happy’ file,
Brightest colors mile on mile,
And, filled with laughter all the while.

So when I wake from dream I dread,
I merely change my thoughts, instead-
Of dreaming on; then my lay head,
In fluffed up pillows on my bed.

It is in fluffing up you see,
One pillow, two or perhaps three,
For peaceful sleep; my recipe,
My cloud filled, restful remedy!
