Allergies


We’ve all been there when friends disclose,
Their hack and cough, and dripping nose,
“I feel so bad; you have a cold”,
“Just allergies,” is what you’re told.


A week goes by; you’re now in bed,
A runny nose; a cough you dread,
Oh my, oh my, and golly gee,
You must have caught their “allergy!”
