One Clear Voice_ Sonnet XX
Such cold and blue and blackened sky,
How bright your stars; your planets spin,
I reach so far to touch; I try-
To understand the depth within,
There’s love and fear, and joy and doubt,
Your universe so hot and cold,
I hear discordant chords about,
Your melody is hard to hold,
And, yet your choir has one choice,
To practice with the notes we’re giv’n,
We all can sing with one clear voice,
To finish one pure anthem driv’n,
We know that love’s within Your scheme,
Until our end; our final dream.
