Believe

Nothingness negates possibility,

A smile with limits,

If a smile at all,

A laugh turned inward,

If a laugh at all,

True joy thwarted,

If joy at all,

Look up at the stars,

Beyond the heavens,

And, then beyond, beyond,

What do you see?

Its hope,

Smiles,

Laughter,

Joy,

And, more!

I desire more!

Break through the glass ceiling-

Of unbelief,

Sail with the dreamers,

Poets and lovers,

Come dance in the clouds,

Be carried away,

And live!
