My Valentine

You, are my valentine,

Remember our candy hearts,

“Be Mine”,

“I’m Yours”,

“True Love”,

In third grade Valentines were given,

To every boy, and every girl,

Even then,

You selected the best Valentine,

For each person,

And, then God gave me you,

In college you gave me candy hearts on Valentine’s Day,

All quite tame,

Just the same,

You became,

My candy hearted,

“Angel”,

My,

“True Love”,

My,

“Oh My”,

“Hey, Baby”,

“Be Mine”,

"So Happy",
You are,

"My Valentine"!
