Sweet Peace Upon this Stillest Night
Sweet peace upon this stillest night,
A soft clear breeze in pale moonlight,
A brand new year for you and me,
Let’s spend this one in reverie.
Come take my hand; oh, let us go,
And, share what paradise we know,
Crescendo, forte, raise your voice,
Articulate, yes, smile, Rejoice!
This is our time; let’s dance and sing,
The tears we’ve shed our offering,
For loved ones now, and in the past,
They’d wish for us no shadows cast.
Oh, see the dawn’s horizon rise,
A bright young day; a new surprise,
And, in each bud a flower will bring,
The chorus of our brightest spring,
