Dull Days
Overcast,
Rain in the
distance,
You learn to recognize,
Straight vertical
lines on the horizon,
Dull days,
Fields are barren,
Winter fall,
Twelve days of
fifteen this month,
Gloomy,
Dull days,
A time of rest,
Pattered pavement,
Rain, constant,
Rain not
drenching, just,
Drips, and drops,
and drizzle,
Dull days,
Yet, Still!
Filled with
wonder,
When I walk,
Past a window,
I see,
My garden,
Applauding!
