Formed in Love
I was formed in
love,
Smiles and kisses,
Blisses beyond
belief,
Intellect,
Ability to reason,
Originality,
Were praised,.
Never raised
above,
Your ability,
To smile,
Your ability to
hug,
Your ability to
meet and greet,
Your ability to
share,
We’ve heard,
“Don’t push!”
“Wait your turn!”
And,
“Love your
neighbor!”
(I read a
disturbing philosophy today)
(A man who felt
others were better by virtue of intellect)
(My only thought
was, “Shame on you!”)
(And, my Mom)
(Oh, she would
have given you an earful).
