Drizzling Rain
It’s January,
It’s six in the
morning
It’s cold,
It’s dark,
It’s raining,
A drizzling rain,
Two degrees above
freezing,
Still wanta walk?
Let’s do it,
Fumbling with
umbrellas,
I hold mine above
yours,
You hold yours to
the side,
And, we can still
walk side by side,
Holding
conversation,
Solving still,
Every problem,
That the world
faces,
This is our time,
Our troubles,
Fall away,
Like rain drops.
