The Waterfall

The Waterfall

I’m happy,
I set my eyes upon the stream,
The waterfall,
White towers in majestic columns fall,
Upon the glassy plane below,
And, explode in frothy roar,
I’m bereft of doubt,
Bereft of fear,
Bereft of sorrow,
I am filled,
To the brim,
With wonder,
Awe,
Inexplicable joy,
And, amazed beyond imagination,
I’m happy,
I’m happy!

Grand Children’s Song

Grand Children’s Song

Spiderman, and learning chess,
Diapers in the corner mess,
Girls in dresses brightly worn,
Boys their hair so neatly shorn.

Holidays the fam’ly fold,
Baby days; the stories told,
Laughter through the dinner din,
Hearts ablaze with love within.

Movies, games and popcorn pops,
Puzzles built on tabletops,
Antsy pants and family walks,
World anew with children talks.

Sun now set and all sublime,
Shampoo bath and jammie time,
Kisses; hugs as Grandma hums,
“We’ll see you when the morning comes!”

Lord, Let Me Love

Lord, Let Me Love

Nothing more,
Nothing greater than love,
That you bestowed to me,
And, I,
Am called to do for others,
What you, in grace, gave,
Help me today,
Strengthen me today,
Toward that aim,
To walk the right path,
In truth,
Without rancor,
Without shame of past,
Without want for praise,
And, without fear,
Let me love, Dear Lord,
Let me love,
I trust in You,
The One,
The Only,
True and holy,
Source,
Of Love.
