Brothers
Brothers,
Yup,
These are them,
James, John, Peter and Philip,
The leader,
Speak no evil,
Hear no evil,
And, see no evil,
Can’t speak for my
brothers,
I’m the hear no
evil,
I look at each
one,
(And, I assure you
each one is looking at me, and the others, too),
With love,
I love that each
one is alive today,
We are scattered,
but fully bonded,
My mother took a
picture of us,
In swimsuits she
made,
She was an artist,
The lawyer (like her Dad),
The lawyer (like her Dad),
Could talk either
side of any issue,
And, the best Mom
ever,
My father was a
wonderful Dad,
An intellect, a
philosopher,
An ambassador, a
facilitator,
Stern, but
unbelievably kind,
A family man,
A poker player,
Right, boys!
A “Great to see
you, so what do you think about this newest book…”
When we get
together,
We hug,
We hug hard!
We all have our
own ideas,
We all respect
each other,
We are all we
have,
I love my
brothers,
I love my
brothers!
