The Wicked and the Sane

I heard of something terrible today,

A child killed in an auto accident,

Inebriated parent,

No words,

Feelings,

Deep and somber,

Tears,

Puddling to overflow,

Falling and streaming,

I think of wicked people,

I think of sane ones, too,

Evil visited once again,

Upon one so undeserving,

There is no positive,

There is no understanding,

People make choices which affect others,

The only plus demonstrated came in the sign and significance,

Of The Cross,

We are lost if it’s not true,

Yet, if it is,

There is life,

There is love,

There is grace,

And, there is mercy,

For everyone,

For each person lost,

There is gain,

Held forever,

In the bosom of God!
