Alone

Alone

I hate being alone,
I do,
My wife is simply away,
A meeting,
What to do?
No problem when she is here,
We have our places,
But, we touch bases,
I miss the bases,
And, here I am,
I could go to any “Moulin Rouge”,
I have been there,
My wife is all I need,
My wife is all I want,
I bought a chicken,
I am in my kitchen,
I am GOOD at cooking chicken,
Wash it,
Dry it,
Salt it,
Oil it,
Back side up,
Rotate it,
Check the temp,
Oh, my,
Much better than Moulin Rouge!
“Hi, Honey,”
“I am home,”
“I miss you,”
“I hate being alone!”
