A Brand New Stew
Today I made a
brand new stew,
When I began I had
no clue,
The recipe just
grew and grew,
A pound of beef;
no let’s have two,
I’ll chop some
onion through and through,
Fresh mushrooms
quarter’d; right on cue,
Peeled fresh
tomato in it flew,
Some milk and
butter from our “moo”,
And, flour to
thicken up the goo,
Paprika, garlic salt
I threw,
Some pasta now was
all but due,
I stirred it all
into the brew,
The mixture took a
savory hue,
A final taste with
spoon I drew,
Wah-Wah, Wah-Whee,
and, Yes! Whoo-Whoo!
