Now I Lay Me

Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray my Lord my soul to keep,

And, at this moment Lord, oh Lord,

Tonight one more will be on board!

They never left; they were unsure,

Until they knew your love was pure,

We see the pain that floods can bring,

And, bombs and war and suffering.

The world is physical and cruel,

When I blame you I am the fool,

Yes, there is pain, and there is strife,

But, without You there is no life!
