Water Lilies

Water lilies on a pond,

A wandering and wondered world,

Wistful and wish filled,

I am drawn,

No,

I am pulled,

I want to be included here,

Emotions are expected from all who enter here,

I feel,

What the artist felt,

Tears to the point of falling,

Yet, held,

For beauty’s sake,

For the sake of not blurring the beauty seen before me,

I am carried,

I am carried, away,

I am caught,

I am bound,

By blues,

Sky and water,

I am bound,

By simplicity,

By nature,

By beauty!
