Blood is blood,

Memories,

I knew your smile,

I felt your hug,

You were our aunt,

You cared to send letters,

Handwritten letters,

You knew us as family,

I always loved your smile,

I played golf with your husband,

I saw you with our little son,

Connecting, and down on your knees,

Bending to meet him at his level,

You traveled to visit us,

You poured out your life for our family,

We never traveled as much as you did,

But, we will travel up for your funeral today,

We are trying to touch base,

We love you,
