I Love You
How many times
have I said,
“I love you,”
A lot, I would
imagine,
But, today is a
new day,
I haven’t said
those words today,
I see you sitting
in a chair,
Reading a book,
Two cats lounging,
One on the height
of your chair,
And, one in your lap,
They love you,
too,
But, not like me,
We are so lucky,
I see my young
girl sitting there,
Its late fall,
You have your
blanket,
Woolen socks,
A book,
Two cats,
Oh, my,
I love you!
